I have nothing against fan art as you should be able to tell since most of my art is fan art. Fan art is a wonderful thing, it shows our love of the thing we're drawing, and I'm sure the owner/s finds it rewarding to see that there creation is so well loved.
And companies like Nintendo, and Disney encourage people to draw their characters by putting out How to Draw books.
But the copyright holders tolerance and encouragement for the fans dose not give the fans the right to be so belligerent and hateful towards someone who takes their drawing and makes a banner with it in it. Or post your drawing over a poem or story that they have written. Or haven forbid they draw something t
